Beginner riding lessons are offered to students of all ages. Our lessons are by appointment only and are given in one-hour sessions. Our instructors are available Monday - Thursday and every other Saturday. With our horse riding lessons, each student learns horsemanship from the ground up. Once the student progresses, they will be recommended to a more advanced discipline.

Riding lesson: $40 per person, discounts for more than one rider

A fee of $100 will be charged for the access to the ranch to take photographs.  For more information, please feel free to call our office.

Black Star Ranch is now offering Birthday Parties to everyone! You call and reserve the date and time and we will have the barn and horses ready! A party will consist of a 2-hour time frame. You will be in charge of any food, drinks, cakes, etc. Have either a picnic on a blanket anywhere on Ranch or use our picnic tables-your choice. We will give you a tour of the barns and horses and there will be 2 instructors with 2 horses to offer horse rides in our round pen for an hour. You can play your games, eat your cake, and open your gifts outside in the beautiful weather.

Birthday Parties are $25.00 per child. There will be a few barns rules that must be followed for the safety of the horses and people. Call Ellen Guidry for more information.

For rental information and rates, please contact Nica or Ashley to rent our arena. Hourly rate $30.00 for riding with a 2 rider limit. Each additional rider is $10 per person with a 4 person limit per hour.
