Stalls are available for a daily rental rate for medical layups, clinics and shows and for use when your horse is being trained by one of our Black Star Ranch trainers.

Due to the recent hurricanes and rising costs of feed, shaving labor, etc., we have decided to discontinue monthly boarding services.

We will continue to strive to enhance our youth clinics and riding lessons for all ages.

For very special wedding photos, Black Star Ranch offers our very own horse and carriage.  You can take still photos with "Big Ben" and the beautiful carriage on very scenic spots on the ranch property.  No riding in the carriage is allowed.  A fee of $200 will be charged for this service.  For more information, please feel free to call our office.

If you need Black Star to care for your horse's medical needs, we have experience in fractures, insect bites, hoof abscesses, lacerations, colic, respiratory issues and allergies, muscle sprains, senior horse care, broodmare and foal care.

Don't have much experience with horses, but interested? Then don't worry, that's what we're here for and we can assist you. The Black Star Ranch is available for clinics and hourly lessons given by on-site trainers. We're also available for summer camps and nature walks.

Western Lessons are available to persons of all ages from kids to adults.  Our lessons are delivered from a ground up approach.  The instructor teaches how to catch a horse, saddle a horse, groom a horse and ride a horse.  Lessons are based upon the experience of the rider.  Once the rider is comfortable with basic horsemanship then he/she can move on to specialized lessons like barrel racing or western pleasure.
